NeoDhruva Consultants Pte Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Tax Associate/ Senior Associate to join our Singapore office.
At NeoDhruva, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' tax compliance and advisory needs and navigating the intricacies of the tax landscape. Your responsibilities will encompass providing tax structuring advice and assisting with tax compliance service. Primary Responsibilities
Support Partner and Manager in servicing clients in relation to their tax needs, inclusive of the following:
- Singapore corporate tax compliance, including but not limited to, liaising with clients for information required, preparation / review of estimated chargeable income, preparation / review of tax computations, preparation and submission of tax returns as well as handling queries.
- Tax structuring assignments including interplay of tax treaties in cross border engagements
- Assisting fund clients in setup, structuring, obtaining tax exemptions and meeting annual compliances
- Tax due diligence projects, helping to identify key tax risks and potential deal breakers, and assist with tax structuring for the potential transaction in the context of clients’ investment strategy including seeking tax rulings where relevant.
- Assist partner and managers in business development initiatives by research on specific sectors/ industries, preparing powerful presentations, preparing pitches and identifying new business opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate should:
- Possess at least 1-2 years of experience tax compliance and advisory in reputable accounting firms
- Fully qualified Accountant (e.g. ISCA/ACCA/CPA/CA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate to client representatives and colleagues
- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
- Motivated and effective in a fast-paced culture
- Have an outward-looking, people-oriented personality with great communication skills as well as an analytical mind and the ability to work effectively in a team
