Hanson Carriers was established in early 2019 in Singapore, with its operational headquarter located in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai. The company has branches in Singapore, Melbourne, Mumbai, Dubai, and Turkey. As an international shipping company, Hanson mainly engages in steel and project liner services and international dry bulk shipping, as well as ship management, international freight forwarding, and other related businesses.
Responsibilities
· Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries.
· Facilitate employee onboarding including conduct orientation sessions and off boarding.
· Application, renewal and cancellation of foreign worker passes (if any), ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations.
· Responsible for the company's confidentiality and legal affairs, and the safekeeping and correct use of important company documents and seals.
· Perform general administrative support to the company, including up keeping of office equipment, stationery ordering and pantry supplies replenishment, etc.
· Perform any other ad-hoc duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
· Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Admin and/or equivalent.
· Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with strong payroll experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Maritime industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
· Deep understanding of confidentiality related to human resources & Payroll
· Familiar with MOM regulations with Employment Act.
