Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and facilities management.
- Manage team member and monitor operational KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise the replenishment of warehouse consumable supplies
- Oversee the maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Ensure proper handling, sorting, identification, and dispatching of goods in the warehouse according to work instructions (WI) and SOPs.
- Optimize space and resource utilization through analysis of inbound and outbound volume forecasts.
- Implement cost-control measures to improve efficiency and reduce handling and supply costs, striving to achieve monthly budget targets.
- Drive cost-effectiveness initiatives and continually seek ways to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper storage and housekeeping standards (5S).
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline warehouse processes.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties related to warehouse management as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.
- Proactive team player with a hands-on approach.
