We are looking for a QHSE Manager for a bridge construction project by segmental erection methods in Singapore. The Project is part of the new infrastructure development program of Singapore it is highly technical and challenging and will use state of the art construction techniques.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in Singapore with potential long term assignment in the APAC region.
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary accountabilities
- Leading a team of Quality Safety and Health professionals to deliver timely and quality services to the Project
- Assessing the effectiveness, safety and efficiencies of operations
- Developing the QSHE strategy for the Projects in collaboration with the Project Staff
- Develop a culture that prioritises safety.
- Managing relationships with key Project, Partner company and Client Stakeholders
- Preparation of reports for internal & external stakeholders where required
- Conducting incident investigation & audits
- Conducting safety training and behavioural programmes including toolbox talks and inductions
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Science, Safety, Environment, Quality Management, Sustainability and/or other associated disciplines
- 10+ years HSE Practitioner in Construction and/or heavy industry and high risk workplaces, Engineering or other associated functional areas
