Connect Energy partners with a contractor to look for a QA/QC CIVIL & STRUCTURAL SUPERVISOR / ENGINEER for a PUB project. This is a one year, extendable contract.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site audit on sub-contractor / vendor
- Ensure adequate equipment and facilities are provided for verification of product quality
- Ensure tht all controlled documents are adminstered effectively
- Daily coordination of all site work C&S activities
- Liaising with client's inspectors / authorised inspector to enure project requirement are fully achieved through out the project
- Coordinate with sub-contractor/vendor to resolve quality issues and follow up for corrective actions
- Stipulate and control adequate criteria for workmanship
- Monitoring the RC piling, Bore piling works
- Ensure that all inspection, test and identifications are carried out according to quality plan or documented procedures
- Monitor and witness testing such as: Earth compacting test, load test for piling work, raw material for concrete testing, trial mix and cube test, waterproof tests and rebar tests
- Prepare monthly report submission of concrete cube test, raw material and rebar
- Ensure that all quality reports and customers' complaints are analyzed with adequate corrective actions taken
- Ensure that quality records are propoerly stored and maintained
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years QA/QC Experience in construction project
- Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings
- Detailed-oriented and have strong communication skills and able to work with people from all levels.
- Willing to work at vendor location or site
- Proficient with Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel
- Experiences in Construction Site work in preferred.
- Must be familiar with BCA standard in Singapore
- Familiar with Piling, reinforcement and concrete construction procedures
- Comfortable to liaise with client
- Transport pick up to and from site (Jurong West) to MRT
- 5.5 days work week
- Able to commit at least 1 year contract.
