Your new role
As a core member of the Operational Risk team, you will play a crucial role in advising and supporting various departments in identifying, assessing, and controlling operational risks within business processes. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating documentation related to Operational Risk Management, Fraud Management, and New Product Management policies and procedures. Additionally, you will work closely with departments to report operational risk events, establish root causes, and develop appropriate mitigation action plans.
What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to succeed in this role, you will have:
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar capacity in a prominent financial institution
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Banking, Finance, Business or related discipline
- A well rounded experience in all aspects pertaining to Operational Risk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of MAS Guidelines on Risk Management practices, BCM guidelines, and Outsourcing Notice
- The ability to work independently and be adaptable
