Altum Law Corporation is a boutique law firm that practises corporate law exclusively. We have a focus on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), regulatory compliance and governance matters, private equity and FinTech. We were recently ranked in Legal500 for our capital markets practice. We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing general para-legal and administration support to lawyers in the team.
2. Support and assisting our directors and associates
- in drafting, amending, proof-reading and finalising documents for corporate transactions;
- with regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters, including corporate secretarial work; and
- with any legal research as may be required.
3. Liaising with clients, and other external parties such as other professionals in legal, finance and accounting.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- A diploma or degree (preferably in law) obtained from a reputable educational institution
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Strong work ethics
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, especially MS Word
- Prior work experience in law firms would be a plus, although fresh graduates are welcome to apply
