Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Aftersales Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our own building facilities, ensuring all systems are operational, and supervising vendors during renovations. This role requires hands-on experience in various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and building works.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical systems, air-conditioning systems, compressed air, and chilled-water systems to ensure they are functioning properly. Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repairs to keep the building in daily operational state. Supervise vendors during renovation projects to ensure a smooth transition to new areas and maintain quality standards. Maintain good housekeeping in AHU (Air Handling Unit) and switch rooms to ensure cleanliness of equipment and site. Work with contractors and vendors to carry out scheduled maintenance and supervise work on premises to ensure quality, cost-effective repairs and renovations. Perform hands-on repairs for sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works, and building works as needed. Carry out simple fault finding for telephone lines to ensure communication systems are operational. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the maintenance and operational needs of the facility.
Qualifications:
· NITEC in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Facility Services or related discipline
· Minimum 2 years of experience in building or facilities maintenance support
· Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection will be of an added advantage
· Hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, and building works.
· Willing to travel to other locations for the repair work
