Prudential's Cloud Devops Engineering team is looking for a well-rounded engineering ops engineer for a permanent role. The incumbent will be joining a tightly knit team with strong and diverse background in cloud infrastructure engineering, application development , traditional system administration, DevOps and cloud native technologies. This is a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in the growth and evolution of the company's cloud platform, built by very talented people.
Responsibilities include:
- Robust hybrid automation in Cloud
- Expertise in implementing CI-CD in Github, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, ArgoCD deploy for diverse technologies.
- Experience and able to implement, troubleshoot and integrate tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Ansible and Puppet etc with consideration of the security controls required to deliver the CICD Pipeline.
- Experience with DevSecOps Tools such as AquaSec, BurpSuite, PolarisScan etc.
- Hands on expertise in Linux, shell scripting and common Unix and windows server
- Hands on expertise in troublehshooting Git Workflow leveraging reusable actions and infra as code using terrafom
- Collaborates with Peers to design and implement tools that help automate end-to-end processes that involve IT infrastructure and applications.
- Deep technical knowledge on Cloud-primarily Azure/Google
- Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end to end process aligning to the defined architecture.
- Experience in Docker, Docker compose, Docker registries, Api gateway
- Experience creating Docker image and orchestrating container deployments using Kubernetes or similar
- Collaborate with Dev Teams to solution and close audit/performance issues
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
- Azure and GCP certifications preferred
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Ops Engineer
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing
