Sales Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, ensuring quick and accurate responses.
- Submit quotations and follow up on sales leads, closing deals where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, especially those in the education sector.
- Provide sales forecasts, business insights, and recommendations to improve revenue and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for business growth, including upselling and cross-selling services to existing customers.
Operations Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the printing business, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
- Serve as the point of contact for printing staff posted out station, addressing their operational needs and resolving issues.
- Manage the hiring process, including interviewing and onboarding new staff as needed to support business growth.
- Handle manpower planning and scheduling to ensure sufficient coverage and operational efficiency.
- Assist with submitting and reviewing job tickets for in-house printing to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain regular reporting on operational performance, including daily updates via Google Calendar.
- Provide guidance and support to in-house staff, resolving issues and helping them meet their daily objectives.
Administrative & Reporting:
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance, operational efficiency, and staff productivity.
- Provide forecasts for business performance and recommend strategic adjustments to improve both sales and operations.
- Keep track of staff schedules and project timelines, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in both sales and operations, preferably in the printing or education sector.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Strong communication skills to effectively handle customer inquiries and staff concerns.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Calendar, Google Sheets) for reporting and communication.
- Knowledge of digital printing processes is a plus.
