JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to assemble tool as per Work Instruction / per assembly drawings
- Performs Pressure & functional testing on assemblies.
- Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
- Performs torqueing of various components.
- To conduct incoming inspections, in-process inspection and final inspection prior to release to customers.
- To prepare inspection reports and ensure effective storage & maintenance of inspection records &
- documents.
- To review MTR, COC & Inspection Reports prior to approving product for delivery.
- To ensure timely communication about the defects / complaints noticed during inspection to engineering.
- To support imaging completed job packets to electronic system for record retention and easy retrieval when required.
- To perform In-house calibration of MME & maintaining calibration reports.
- Generating OA for external calibrations and inspection equipment servicing or purchases.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- NTC / NITEC in Mechanical engineering or any recognised aviation / engineering trade training certificates.
- Applicant with minimum 3 (3) years of relevant assembly experience will have added advantages.
- Mechanically inclined, proficient in reading/interpreting assembly blueprints, following written and verbal work instructions, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- A basic understanding of the form and function of assembly components will be required as most assemblies are built without drawings or documentation.
- Must be able to accurately use measuring instruments.
- Must be able to operate crane/hoist and pallet jack. Repetitive use of hands and wrists while using hand tools.
