Dialysis Transport is looking for an Accountant to manage our company Accounts using Xero Accounting Software.

Working Days / Hours of work / Overtime
- Working days will be 5 days a week.
- working hours will be from 9am to 6pm.
- Break hours per day: 1 hour
- Rest day: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
Roles and Responsibilities
1. General Accounting Duties
- Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and ensuring all entries are properly recorded in the general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled with bank statements.
2. Tax Compliance
- GST (Goods and Services Tax): Ensuring compliance with Singapore’s GST laws, filing GST returns, and ensuring accurate calculation of input and output taxes.
- Corporate Income Tax Filing: Preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s corporate tax regulations, and liaising with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) for tax matters.
- Payroll Tax Compliance: Ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee taxes such as Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Accounts Payable: Managing payments to suppliers, vendors, and other external parties, and ensuring timely settlement of obligations.
- Accounts Receivable: Managing customer invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
4. Financial Analysis
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, tracking actual financial performance against forecasts, and providing variance analysis.
- Cost Management: Monitoring and analyzing costs, identifying areas for cost reduction, and ensuring cost efficiency.
5. Audit and Internal Control
- Internal Audits: Conducting internal audits to ensure financial records are accurate and internal controls are in place.
- External Audit Support: Assisting external auditors with the preparation of audit materials and responding to their queries.
6. Regulatory Compliance
- Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS): Ensuring that financial statements comply with local financial reporting standards.
- Company Law Compliance: Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act of Singapore, including the proper filing of statutory reports and documents.
7. Management Accounting
- Cash Flow Management: Monitoring the company's cash flow and working capital needs to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Financial Performance Review: Conducting regular financial reviews to provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
8. Technology and Systems Management
- Accounting Software: Proficient in the use of accounting software such as Xero to manage day-to-day accounting tasks.
- Automation: Leveraging technology to automate repetitive tasks, such as invoicing and payroll, to improve efficiency.
9. Liaison and Communication
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with other departments (HR, Operations, Sales) to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- External Stakeholders: Communicating with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Degree in accounting or finance.
- Professional Certifications: ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CPA Singapore (Certified Public Accountant), or other equivalent qualifications.
- Knowledge of Local Tax Laws: Strong understanding of Singapore tax laws, CPF contributions, and GST regulations.
