This job is about playing an integral role in managing and driving improvement as well as ensuring Vallen Singapore’s smooth daily operations. You will support Vallen Singapore’s smooth running and efficient service that meet customers’ needs. You will engage and influence at all levels through your partnership with sales, marketing, finance and many more functions.
What will you deliver?
-In this role you will secure the functionality of Vallen Singapore business by overseeing ongoing business operations and procedures, and managing logistics, IT, vending machine solution and compliance.
-To established Training materials and support HOD’s in creating Work Instructions.
-You will participate in delivering current year business results and shaping its future by working with the leadership team to define plans that close current functional gaps and select and prioritize projects.
-You will be responsible for making process improvement projects work by contributing to data collection and analysis, identifying potential risks and issues related to the delivery of projects, optimizing processes and communicating with all levels.
-You will ensure successful implementation for new customer accounts by supporting the Implementation team on the business process and system configurations.
-You will ensure compliance with the Regional and Group policies and procedures; and oversee internal and external audit.
-You will deliver technical training such as training on operations, systems and policies, and mentoring support.
-Create an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
-Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all the business applications.
-To be the first point of contact for all operational system queries regards to the business applications for Vallen Asia, Sonepar Singapore and Host.
-To provide business application first level support.
-To develop solution design for any new application development based on business requirements.
-To facilitate the training for new employees, new functionality in different applications or new business processes.
-Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
-Align operational improvement initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Qualifications
-3+ years of experience in a similar role
-Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines
-Demonstrable competency in strategic planning
-Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management
-Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
-Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines
-Ability to independently execute on functional responsibilities
-Lean or Six Sigma qualification is an advantage
