Job Description:
As a User Experience Designer at Meinhardt, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experiences of our innovative digital solutions within the construction engineering industry. Reporting directly to the Product Lead, you will be responsible for designing and prototyping intuitive, user-centered interfaces that meet the needs of our clients and end-users. Operating within a SCRUM environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
- Ensure design consistency across all platforms by contributing to and maintaining our design systems
- Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterative designs
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong focus on prototyping
- Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD and design tools like Adobe Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience working in a SCRUM environment, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your UX design process and prototyping skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating excellent user experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with designing interfaces for GenAI applications
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Experience with product marketing videos
