The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for in-servicing, pre-sales demonstration and training our new and existing customer, employees and channel partners on all Imaging and Biopsy products. This includes new product in-service, follow-up training, tradeshow support and other educational activities.
Key Accountabilities
• New Product In-service and pre-sales demonstrations
• Conduct training session for surgeons, radiologists, nurses, imaging technologists and technical assistants on using the device(s)
• Schedule initial in-service within target timeframe of two to three weeks of install of mammo and pre-sales demonstration of Ultrasound to potential customers
• Record, communicate and track all visits
• Follow-up training
• Monitor and discuss with sales team and customer service accounts that are in need of additional training
• Provide input on educational material and assist with distribution to customer base
• Conduct training sessions for employees and distributor teams on product applications, features and benefits for all imaging and biopsy portfolio
• Communicate trends or customer needs to the Commercial managers or Line Manager, and to international product/applications team
• Assist in the education and training of new sales representatives when requested
• Sales Support when requested as far as demo services related
• Assist with on-site tradeshow and educational course support
• Work closely with sales team to support them with data collection, customer feedback and competitor feedback
• Help with various sales activities when needed
Pre-requisities
• Available to travel up to 75% within Emerging Asia region and internationally on occasional basis
• Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email)
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with staff at all levels
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Demonstrates trustworthiness, respect and integrity
• Must be able to schedule travel in the most efficient and effective manner to maximize time
• Must be committed to improving patient care
Education
• Radiographers’ degree
Experience
• More than five years of Clinical training in a medical setting using Mammography and/or MRI imaging modalities or equivalent
• Experience working directly for a vendor in a clinical support role preferred
Additional Details
• Must have ability to enter an MR Suite without risk to personal health
• The function is an ASEAN based role
