As a Job Coach duties and responsibilities
As a Job Coach, regular interaction with every client is to be expected. It will be important to build positive rapport, trust and good relationships to learn where there are professional gaps and where clients have skills to offer their future employers. Motivating clients is another important part of the job, as is helping clients learn to navigate the social aspects of the workplace.
An experienced, qualified Job Coach is able to:
- Plan and implement a job coaching strategy with different needs and disability of clients
- Assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of each client
- Discover what motivates the client and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace
- Present skills to aid client towards entrepreneurship
- Assist employees with disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions
- Create and update records and reports on progress
6 months of training
- Understand the functions and procedures in handling Thermomix
- To be able to create picture cards for every usage of Thermomix
- To be able to create simple recipes using picture cards
- To be able to conduct lesson in individual and group settings
- To be able to prepare slides and handout for clients To be able to guide clients in food preparation towards entrepreneurship.
