On behalf of the hiring company that is in the agrochemical space, we seek suitable personnel to join them as Laboratory Operations Manager or Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Safety Management: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing hazardous chemicals, and handling emergencies.
- Equipment Management: Overseeing procurement, maintenance, and effective use of laboratory equipment.
- Personnel Management: Recruiting, training, and managing laboratory staff to create a productive and efficient team.
- Laboratory Operations: Managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, and supporting experimental projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with at least 3 years of experience in laboratory management, and with prior experience in R&D renovation projects.
- Familiarity with Singapore's chemical laboratory management policies and regulations, and the ability to handle safety emergencies effectively.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and team-building skills, as well as effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to write in Chinese and speak Mandarin
- Comfortable in working in a startup environment
