Role Description
The candidate will be involved in all deal making activities in the investment banking areas, and predominantly in Mergers and Acquisitions transactions. They will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including conducting research, preparing financial models, preparing marketing materials, and executing transactions. The candidate will work closely with other team members on data and financial analyses, due diligence activities, and the creation of transaction materials. Being exposed to every aspect of a deal/transaction cycle, the candidate will be involved in the deal sourcing process, evaluation of such opportunities, arranging and structuring of such transactions, and see to the completion and documentation. The candidate will be mentored and be provided opportunities to advance and grow a career in investment banking.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, or Corporate Finance
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and timelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. A higher degree or relevant qualification is a plus
