Join SAM Tampines’ Group of Learning Centres in a role that ensures smooth operational efficiency and enhances student well-being. This position is key to maintaining day-to-day operations while providing essential support to staff, students, and parents in a nurturing environment. Additionally, you will participate in community outreach programs, including organizing events for children and the elderly as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
• Assist the Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Managers with daily administrative tasks.
2. Student Administrative Tasks:
• Worksheet Preparation: Print and distribute worksheets according to teachers' schedules, ensuring all lessons have the necessary materials.
• Student Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data management regulations.
• Program Fee Management: Collect program fees from parents in a timely manner, maintain accurate payment records, and follow up on outstanding balances.
3. Operations & Maintenance:
• Supplies Inventory Management: Monitor and reorder office and teaching supplies (e.g., paper, printer accessories, bottled water, rewards for student incentives) to ensure consistent stock levels.
• Centre Cleanliness: Inspect the learning centre regularly, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-organized. Collaborate with staff to address cleanliness issues as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functionality of equipment, including computers, laptops, and printers. Troubleshoot minor technical issues when possible.
4. Teaching Aide:
• Teacher Support: Assist teachers with non-instructional tasks such as organizing lesson materials, preparing classroom environments, and supporting activity setups.
• Student Supervision: Oversee student behavior during classes to maintain a disciplined, positive learning environment. Reinforce class rules as needed.
• Learning Tools Management: Help students use learning tools and manipulatives as directed by the teacher, ensuring they are properly maintained, organized, and stored after use.
What We're Looking For:
• GCE N or O Level / Nitec qualification
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong commitment to hard work in a learning centre environment dedicated to shaping future generations
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, especially during peak periods, exam seasons, and special events
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the centre
