Our client is a Global MNC company in the manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Global Supply Chain & Logistics Director to join them,in hopes of developing the current high performing team. Their location is easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Build strategies, directions, and budgets to support the function’s infrastructure.
- Develops plans for resource optimization and cost savings
- Responsibilities for buying, stock management, logistics coordination, customs handling, and master data
- Lead business administration activities, setting and implementing supply chain strategies
- Leads supply chain strategies across key functions in different regions with a focus on manufacturing and production with customised engineering solutions
- Meet company goals such as cost reduction, risk management, lead time optimization, quality control, and inventory management.
- Work within a matrix structure.
- Partners closely with Procurement to strengthen sourcing and vendors management.
- Utilizes data analytics to track supply chain performance, collaborating with internal stakeholdersto monitor trends and forecast inventory and distribution needs.
- Acts as a subject matter expert to senior leadership in global supply chain management.
- Builds team frameworks with an emphasis on enhancing internal competencies and utilizing global supply chain management advantages.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to optimize product lifecycle processes, spearhead key business initiatives, and boost overall profitability.
- Oversees transformation projects and programs.
- Utilizes data analytics to track supply chain performance, collaborating with internal stakeholdersto monitor trends and forecast inventory and distribution needs.
- Ensures compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business or any other relevant field of studies
