Job duties / responsibilities:
- Identify business opportunities, achieve sales and business targets including AUM building and asset retention
- Product design and delivery. With oversight and support from senior management, manage the design and delivery of various fund product initiatives to agreed timescales and budgets
- Establish and manage relationship with overseas distribution channels, including but not limited to commercial banks, private banks, wealth management channels, family offices and IFAs
- Host and participate in sales / marketing seminars and market / product related trainings to introduce the firm, investment capabilities, as well as the relevant products and services
- Conduct regular reviews and due diligences on new and/or existing clients, as well as performance monitoring of various distributors
- Act as key coordinator between clients and internal teams in account opening and account monitoring
- Liaise closely with other internal teams within the asset management business to ensure the delivery of quality services to clients
- Assist in establishing a presence and brand awareness for Haitong’s asset management business
Job Specification:
- Graduate from renowned universities with degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Accounting, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experiences in asset management business development and / or product development function and familiar with asset management business lines and fund products/services.
- Strong knowledge of the international asset management industry with solid experience in launching, registering, operating, amending fund products.
- Demonstrable experience in fund channel distribution across the region.
- Able to work independently and also as a team player.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent command of Mandarin Chinese and English
