Our client, a leading Japanese retail company specializing in clothing and accessories reuse is expanding into Singapore. They are currently seeking motivated office staff to support the establishment of their new operations. Job Description:
1) Recruitment:
• Oversee recruitment process for retail positions, from posting to hiring.
• Collaborate with other members to define job requirements and create descriptions.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
2) Employee Relations:
• Address employee issues, foster positive work environment, and handle grievances.
• Attendance management of the employees working at retail stores, and be the contact window of the payroll outsourcing company to secure the salary payment in timely manner.
• Provide counselling and support on performance, behaviour, and career development.
• Review and update compensation structures to remain competitive consulting with other companies.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma related to HR is required.
• Experience in retail or F&B industry is required.
• Knowledge of MOM regulations.
• Smoothly and promptly communication skills with external stakeholders such as recruitment agencies.
• Japanese language skill will be preferred to liaise with stakeholders. (not a must have required)
