Job Title: Receptionist - Primary School
Contract Period: Jan 2025 to Dec 2026
Location: Yishun
Timings: Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm & Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of lunch break.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, parents, students, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries promptly.
- Manage the school’s main email account and respond to or redirect correspondence as needed.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor passes, and ensure all visitors comply with school security protocols.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and preparation of documents.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and school events.
- Assist in the distribution of school communications, newsletters, and notices to parents and staff.
- Handle student attendance records, late arrivals, and early departures.
- Manage and replenish office supplies and stationery inventory.
- Support in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Collaborate with school administration and staff to provide smooth office operations.
- Address and resolve minor issues and escalate any concerns to the relevant personnel.
Qualifications (Required):
- Min Secondary School education
- Pleasant personality
- Preferably with similar working experience in school environment
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
