The M&E Manager is responsible for the full coordination of M&E services; lead a team of M&E colleagues which includes coordinators and supervisors in the smooth installation and well maintenance of the project.
Job Responsibilities
- To plan, direct and monitor the timely and effective delivering of the full suite of M&E services based on the scope and type of the construction.
- Identify, manage and resolve any potential or actual technical risks or issues from the start till the handover of the construction project.
- Partner and liaise with different trade functions team (e.g. structure and archi) on the technical and to ensure smooth progression of work onsite.
- Liaise with external partners or authorities on project work matters and compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Partner, manage and monitor the quality and timeliness of the work completed by the subcontractors.
- Establish and maintain good relationship with clients / developers, sub-contractor and suppliers.
- Provide technical support and assistance to building infrastructure and facilities upgrading and renovation projects.
- Verify, monitor and control the costing of variation orders.
- Lead, coach and manage team members.
- Timely update of project progress to the management team.
- Adherence and promote safe work practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Preferably at least 10 years of relevant work experience in delivery full suite of M&E services within the construction industry
- At least 5 years of proven people management experience
- Proven track record and experience in managing mixed development construction projects
- Candidate with prior experience in handling projects valued $100million and above and worked with A1 Main Contractor would have an added advantage
- Highly effective and knowledgeable in M&E aspects of things in the construction phase
