What you will work on
We are looking for a Singapore-based seasoned relationship manager to actively manage, acquire and prospect HNW clients in the Japan market. You will be maintaining and expanding a network of clients. The role requires at least 15 years of relevant banking experience with a focus on understanding client needs, objectives and risk tolerance. Japanese language, strong knowledge of financial markets, coordination and communication skills are must-have traits.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline of prospective clients with the aim of growing AUM and revenue
- Ensure that we achieve excellence in our clients’ experience, building long lasting relationships based on trust and highest standards of service quality
- Onboarding & maintenance clients
- Client relationship management
- Strict observance of risk and compliance rules as dictated by the company and the regulatory authorities
Who we are looking for
- 15+ years of relevant experience in private banking/ MFO
- Excellent Japanese both spoken and written (mothertongue level)
- Proven track record in client acquisition and retention success on Japanese market segment
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, wealth management or related fields
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
