1. Cashiering
•Responsible for operating the cash register and handling cash and card transactions.
•Provide receipts and correct change and address any customer queries or issues related to transactions.
2. Replenishment of Stock
•Restock shelves and displays with merchandise from the stockroom.
•Monitor inventory levels and notify the management of low stock or replenishment needs.
•Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming deliveries.
3. Store Maintenance and Organization
•Perform regular checks to ensure the store environment is welcoming and visually appealing, and ensure products are neatly displayed and properly arranged.
4. Accessory Area Maintenance and Organization (dedicated workforce)
•Manage and organize accessory area.
•Replenish stock and monitoring inventory levels of accessories.
5. Fitting Room Assistance
•Manage and organize the fitting room area and offer customer support as needed.
•Handle returned items from fitting rooms and ensure they are properly tagged and returned to the sales floor.
6. Opening and Closing Duties
•Perform opening duties, including preparing the store for the day by setting up registers, checking inventory, and ensuring the sales floor is ready.
•Conduct closing procedures, including balancing registers, securing the store
7. Inventory Audits (if required)
•Participate in bi-annual inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.
•Assist in organizing and preparing the store for inventory audits, including labelling and categorizing merchandise.
