Main responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, approval, and payment.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Assist on China, Hong Kong, Singapore companies AP & AR
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journal entries.
- Generate and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Tax and Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns (yearly)
- GST filing
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather financial information and support company initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: At least one year of accounting experience, preferably in a similar in-house role.
- Certifications: CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
