As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the technological infrastructure of an organization. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within the organisation. There is basic Desktop support engineering requires to support the backend users.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure
- BAU Activities for Customer's existing infrastructure, including systems, AD Infra, Storage, and Network.
- Incident Support troubleshooting for Customer's existing infrastructure including remote support from Group Rotation, if needed.
- Maintain a comprehensive and update documentation for Customer's infrastructure.
- Perform Problem Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Escalation to Principal Vendor or SI when appropriate.
- Support new technology implementation.
- Handle project implementation from start to end.
- Aid with technical issues.
- Any other adhoc duties assigend from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in relevant field of studies
- At least 5 years of experience in related role.
- Familiar with Cloud platforms (e.g.AWS ) and traditional on-premises infrastructure like VMWare, server, storage, networking, data backup and security
- Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and server hardware.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, design, and integration.
- Proficiency basic Desktop Support engineering will be an added advantage
- Experience with network configurations, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
