Role Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and managing sales for Archisen’s vegetable products including alcohol business. This includes developing sales strategies, forecasting revenue, ensuring profit growth, and overseeing market analysis and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, enabling them to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Responsible for vegetable products and alcohol sales efforts in Singapore, focusing on pitching and securing sales in the HORECA, food, supermarkets and related industry.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, set sales targets, and monitor industry trends. Analyse monthly sales outcomes and prepare reports for senior management.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and develop a high-performing project sales team. Ensure that all projects meet financial, quality, customer service, cost, and profitability goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Expand and maintain a robust customer base by fostering positive relationships and maintaining strong rapport with key customers. Identify and develop new customer opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Collaborate with partners to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in vegetable and/or alcohol sales, preferably within the HORECA or supermarket industry.
- Proven experience in forecasting sales and building a customer base, particularly with the HORECA and supermarket industry.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and the ability to analyse and translate market needs into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to influence and drive results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
