Junior Marketing Executive

Position Summary:

The Junior Marketing Executive will support the marketing team in executing various marketing strategies and campaigns. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about learning and contributing to all areas of marketing, from digital to traditional channels.

This role requires a creative thinker with strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and the company website. Able to provide written content that align with the brand's voice. (We are definitely able to support with copywriting efforts but for simple socials, it would be good to have someone who is able to craft short captions in the brand's voice.)

2. Social Media Management: Help manage the company’s social media profiles by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analysing performance. Respond to customer inquiries and comments to maintain a positive online presence.

3. Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure they meet company objectives.

4. Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities. Coordinate logistics, manage vendor relationships, and assist in on-site event management.

5. Design and create promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, and digital graphics to support marketing campaigns. Ensure that all materials adhere to brand guidelines and are tailored to target audiences.

6. Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative duties such as updating marketing materials, managing marketing calendars, and coordinating with vendors. Maintain an organised filing system for media libraries, marketing assets and collateral.

7. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities using tools like Google Analytics. Provide insights and actionable recommendations for improvement and share them with the marketing team. (We just elaborated on "providing insights for improvements".)

8. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, operations team, and external vendors to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.

9. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Provide insights to the marketing team to inform strategy development.

10. Customer Engagement: Assist in developing and executing strategies to enhance customer engagement through various touchpoints, ensuring a consistent brand experience.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

· Basic understanding of marketing principles and practices.

· Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.

· Ability to create compelling and visually appealing presentations.

· Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field

2. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry or a related field.
