About the Role
List of responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of assigned social service programmes for youths, ensuring the relevant practice framework, logic model & SOPs of each programme are set up and adhered to by the team
- Provide direction and guidance to the team in building professional and positive working relationship with stakeholders, and other professionals
- Lead the team in outreach initiative and efforts
- Provide casework and counselling interventions
- Develop strategic collaborations with government agencies and community partners
- Lead and guide the team in being able to identify the community needs, and service gaps that can contribute to the development of new programmes
- Provide supervision and guide the professional development of social service practitioners in the team
- Support professional development and provide support to staff through working closely with the Head, Practice & Service Development and HR
- Conduct research and evaluation
Technical & Core Competencies required:
- Ability to lead the team, to monitor and oversee staff competency and training in order to fulfill their evolving roles and responsibilities in the team
- Ensure staff work in compliance with company policies and standards
- Strong communication skills and effective interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver social service outcome
Preferred achievements / characteristics:
- Degree in Social Work with at least 5 years of experience in direct social work practice
- Having a Masters in Counselling and/or specialized certification in a therapy is advantageous
- Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social/case workers
- Possess good knowledge and experiences with social work interventions, social policies and community engagement
- Passionate about providing quality therapeutic support for youths
