Responsibilities:
Ensure product / process line quality readiness & manage changes:
- Participates in new product / process qualification activities (MRR, etc.) ensuring quality and other defined requirements are met
- Manages various Change Review Boards (PCRB, etc.) ensuring quality, customer and other requirements are
met
Ensure the conformity of delivered products to the customers:
- Ensures FMEAs, Control Plans, OCAPs and other work specifications / instructions to carry out the manufacturing process are well in-place and complied upon
- Ensures that all QGs (Incoming / In-process / Outgoing) are well in placed and are able to detect non-conforming products
- Manages non-conformities via Non-Quality Event (NQE) system
- Validates OCAPs in case of non-conformities
- Takes responsibility of product at risk by taking containments
- Works with Process Engineers and/or other parties to perform evaluations to assess the condition of the potentially impacted WIPs
- Triggers MRB (if necessary), responsible to release safe WIPs after analysis and/or MRB
- Ensures that all non-conformities captured are addressed with Corrective & Preventative actions to ensure no recurrence.
- Works with Process Engineers and/or relevant parties on conducting engineering analysis on customer complaints and developing / driving the 8-D Report
Drive for continuous improvements:
- Reviews progress of quality KPIs against set targets and initiates improvement plans
- Reviews SPC & MSA results and recommends improvements
- Pursues improvements in products & manufacturing processes through various audits or other quality improvement methodologies
Ad-hoc duties:
- Conducts technical trainings (FMEA, Problem-Solving Methodologies, Quality Tools, etc.)
- Performs other tasks as may be assigned
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications :
Degree in Quality Assurance or Engineering materials / microelectronics or related field
Experience :
Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical / job knowledge :
- Quality tools and methods (SPC & MSA, Problem-solving & FMEA, Audit skills)
- Data Analysis tools (JMP, Klarity, etc.)
- Technical knowledge of semiconductor products & manufacturing processes
