Responsibilities
This position is responsible to provide adminsitrative and operations support related to loan, money market, and securities transactions (including CD) and preparing various reports for submission.
- General: Handle back-office operations, including processing loans, securities, money market transactions, swaps, and forex. Prepare periodic reports for Head Office and regulatory agencies in Singapore and Japan. Maintain proper filing of deal tickets, confirmations, account statements, and transaction documents.
- Operations: Operate accounting and settlement systems (such as SWIFT). Review daily bank statements, ensure sufficient account balances, and monitor fund transfers for both inward and outward remittances, as well as customer accounts.
- Reporting: Support the Back Office and Middle Office Managers by managing the accounting system, inputting data, and generating reports.
- Compliance Support: Assist the Compliance Manager with daily anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring, Know Your Customer (KYC) filings, responding to audit requests, and updating operational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Non-experienced candidates with relevant education background are welcomed to apply
- Preferred education qualification includes: Diploma or Degree in banking, finance, accounting, etc.
- [Advantage] Candidate with at least 1 - 2 years of back office operations experience within a corporate bank will have an added advantage
- Great proficiency in MS Office suites is expected
