As a Global Facilities Cost Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing Facilities Capital, Budgeting & Funding process, and Facilities Capex Saving program.
You will need to be actively engage with both Global and Site Procurement, Facilities teams, Finance teams, and other cross functional business partners to develop the most effective Facilities Capex Spending strategies to achieve Micron Global capex efficiency goals and business plan.
You will also the driver to lead the Global discussion on the key strategies and identify savings opportunities to achieve Facilities Capex saving target.
This role requires flexibility and ability to maintain global relationship, excellence communication and presentation skills, and ability to provide clear and qualitative data analysis for the higher management to support decision making. You should be a detailed oriented person, with the capability of managing changes. You should also possess detailed understanding on cost structure, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and providing benchmarking.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Capex Spending Management
- Lead Monthly Capital Review (Funding) Meeting with Facilities Network.
- Organize FRI (Facilities Reliability Improvement) Annual Budgeting Exercise.
- GR and Cashflow Cost Validation: P2P, OOB, Risk to Spend, Funded-no-PO, Week-to-Week Changes.
- Partnership with Capital Planning and Finance for Cost Scrub/Optimization Opportunities.
- Collaboration with Site/Global Facilities Leads to validate project scope & cost, to spend with discipline.
Cost Reduction Champion
- Define FY Cost Savings Target and Strategy for Facilities Network.
- Establish Cost Savings Business Processes, Change Management and Review Process.
- Partnership with Site, Global Facilities Leads, Indirect Procurement to investigate ITB and NITB savings.
- Set up robust tracking system to monitor Identified Savings progress and Actual Savings achievement.
- Appropriate and timely escalation of roadblocks to project sponsor.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Capital Processes (preferable with fundamental knowledge of Facilities operations/engineering, Facilities cost model)
- Demonstrate Project Management capability to manage and move cost projects effectively through the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity and able to navigate cost information system applications such as SAP, FMS.
- Able to develop long term working relationship and trust across the global Facilities network.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and above specialized in Engineering, Business, or Finance or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years experience in any of the following:
