Job Descriptions
- Liaise with contractors and engineers regarding overall services
- Liaise with respective parties on checking drawings and specifications
- Attending site meetings with owner, consultants, and contractors on all matters relating to the project operation and coordination
- Prepare M&E-related information for tendering of new projects
- Be involved in pre-and post-contract M&E quantity surveys for project site offices
- Evaluate price comparison and costing summaries
- Prepares cost estimates based on technical specifications and prepares costing details for further analyses
- Perform cost planning, estimation, and measurement of quantities for M&E aspects of projects
- Conduct claims, identify variation orders, submit accurate cost implications and spreadsheets
- Form sub-contract documents and conditions
- Prepare settlement for final accounts
- Maintain relevant project documentation
- Handle matters relating to the extension of time, loss and expense claims, etc.
- Be responsible for budget and cost controls
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in the Singapore building construction industry with the Main contractor preferred
- Experience in high-rised buildings, mixed developments & healthcare projects with contract sums of more than $100 million
- Able to meet challenging work demands and tight schedules
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Independent and resourceful
- Is detail-oriented and meticulous in work.
- Possesses knowledge of the industry, construction materials, procurement methods, and regulations. Possesses strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The candidate is usually stationed in the office or project work sites to perform his/her duties.
