Responsibilities:
- Configure Oracle OEM to support IT operation needs.
- Support extracting and/or loading data.
- Authenticating data, Preserving data integrity.
- Identify database performance issues, such as slow queries, inefficient indexing, or resource contention.
- Implement and maintain database monitoring tools to proactively identify issues.
- Develops and maintains Oracle OEM design documents.
- Identify opportunities for Database infrastructure optimization through monitoring and analysis of database performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Oracle Database Specialty certifications.
- Expert hands-on experience on Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c.
- 6-9 years of experience performing Database administration or database engineering duties for database internals and you have experience supporting a minimum of 2 of these database platforms: Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2.
- Capability to both lead and follow, while being a key member of a positive work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A deep understanding of the cloud computing model as it relates to enterprise productivity.
