In this role, the successful candidate will assist the T&L Business Support Director to manage a wide range of support tasks and provide value-added services to our business partners, consultants, partners, and external clients.
As part of the T&L Business Strategy & Operations role, the individual will work with different stakeholders to develop and execute impactful analysis and strategies involving office organisation, strategy execution and project management.
Responsibilities
- Process detailed monthly forecast reports and plans and provide report analysis for SEA within tax services lines across different geographies.
- Support annual financial planning process & revenue forecasting.
- Manage implementation of operational processes to improve financial metrics and automation of financial reporting.
- Establish service level forecast, track KPIs, highlight variances, and track follow-up actions.
- Prepare and design slides with insights, key trending metrics and detailed figures.
- Dive into business operation processes so as to provide feedback and share best practices.
- Assist in putting together forecast reports, generating inputs from geographies and benchmarking against comparable metrics not bound by system limitations.
- Interact with business line leaders, internal and external stakeholders to obtain feedback and manage internal controls to drive progress.
- Deliver, interpret and recommend holistic plans that is in line with business objectives.
- Ensure proper documentation and housekeeping.
- Lead cross-team and cross-function projects from ideation to strategy definition and implementation.

- May be involved in the organisation of events, projects/conferences in line with business needs.

Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Management/Accountancy/Commerce and/or related fields.
- Detail-oriented and able to work with time-sensitive and confidential information.
- At least 4 years in a business support/operations role in similar setting.
- Experience with financial management/reporting systems.
- Ability to lead a team and work well in a fast-paced team environment to achieve set targets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel & Power Point.
- Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen.
- Strategic thinker who is able to prioritise, drive and deliver insights.
- Prior experience in a professional services firm(s) will be beneficial.
