We are seeking a highly skilled Graphics & Product Designer to become a valuable member of our team. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of conceptualizing, designing, and art directing various materials, including collateral, packaging, advertising, and sales materials, all of which should consistently and creatively embody our company's brand identity. Additionally, you may have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the design of entirely new products!
Here's what's on the plate
- Conceptualize and represent the brand across various expressions within the brand identity framework.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to create collateral, promotional materials, and advertising pieces.
- Take the lead in project communication, including liaising with 3rd party vendors.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing and Planning Team to develop products, product packaging or print materials for products and verify color proofs for accuracy.
- Perform video editing and create simple animations.
- Assist in translation projects whenever required, specifically English and Chinese.
- Coordinate the printing, electronic publishing, and distribution of all regional internal and external collateral materials for various countries.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
What You Bring To The Table
- Minimum diploma in Art, Product, Creative Design, or related fields.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the retail beauty or consumer industry.
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Dimension or 3D software, After Effects, PDF, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of digital pre-press and print production processes.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese preferred as well, due to liaison with marketing team in China.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage project timelines effectively.
- Effective time management, workflow coordination, and scheduling to meet strict and sometimes aggressive deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and find multiple design solutions, especially within narrow parameters or strict budget constraints.
- A good understanding of graphic art procedures, design principles, and adherence to graphic standards.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the Graphic Design team and communicate your own ideas clearly.
- Self-driven, proactive team player with a creative flair and a keen eye for shape and color.
