Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all project work activities to ensure effective execution.
- Handle project administration, including information dissemination, milestone tracking, and deliverable management. Input and manage data in databases, and prepare key documents like Project Management Plans, timelines (MS Project and Excel), SOW, acceptance tests, and completion certificates.
- Manage projects from requirements definition to deployment, including schedule planning, scope definition, budgeting, and risk management.
- Handle procurement and collaborate with various functional teams.
- Evaluate project progress, making adjustments to scope, timelines, and costs as needed to ensure project success.
- Report on project outcomes and potential risks to management, escalating issues as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and changes.
- Conduct detailed project planning, including scope, man days, and effort estimates.
- Handle site clearances and conduct site visits during deployment for effective coordination.
- Support the tender submission phase by planning scope, timeline, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Infocomm Technology or a related field.
- 2-5 years of IT project management experience with a focus on scope and timeline planning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage medium to large-scale projects and create detailed project management plans.
- Solid IT technical knowledge, including familiarity with servers, switches, and software, and keeping abreast of new IT developments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and adhere to budget constraints.
- Reliable and self-sufficient with minimal supervision required.
- Proven success working with various functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent team collaboration and client interaction skills.
- Experience as a systems or network engineer is advantageous.
- G50 clearance is required.
