We are looking for a skilled Head of Operations to lead our School Bus Department. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of school bus operations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation services for students. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Manage and supervise daily operations of the school bus department, including scheduling, route planning, and driver management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards for the school bus fleet.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and community stakeholders to address transportation needs and concerns.
- Monitor departmental budget and expenditures.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within transportation operations, preferably in a school or public transportation setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in school bus operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
