Job Duties
· Streamline processes and ensure smooth operations
· Control and maintain the food quality of products at all times
· Prepare maintenance report, food loss report
· Planning of weekly schedule
· Handling of staff issues and assisting in evaluating staff
· Recruitment of part time candidates
· Giving suggestions and feedback to Store Manager
· Assist in investigation in event of customers’ complaints, and providing solution to the Store Manager
· Ensuring good food hygiene practices in the restaurant
· Leading the store’s daily meeting
· Give suggestions and assist in the creation of new dishes
· Ordering food ingredients from suppliers
· Maintaining inventory list, and stock management
· Training and coaching of staff
· Follow up on SOP
· Cooking of staff meal
· Cost control (food cost / labour cost)
· Washing of kitchen equipment, cutting of vegetables, fruits and meat
· Steaming, boiling, frying, deep-frying (etc.) of food ingredients
· Cleaning and scrubbing of floor, exhaust, wall, refrigerator, drain, etc.
· Preparation of customers’ orders
· Rotate and date stock to ensure proper quality is maintained
· Ad hoc duties assigned by superior
Requirements
· Diploma in Food & Beverage / Hospitality Management with 1-2 years of supervisory experience in kitchen
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Good work ethics (integrity, teamwork, punctuality, respect)
· Problem solver and has passion with service and able to think out of the box to achieve desires outcome
· Able to work efficiently under pressure
