Job Description:
Supervision and Coordination:
- Oversee the architectural aspects of the project on-site, ensuring compliance with designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs with other trades.
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Conduct inspections of architectural works, such as walls, ceilings, finishes, and fixtures, to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and address any deficiencies or non-conformities in construction work, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
Site Management:
- Monitor the day-to-day activities of architectural works, managing the progress of the project to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and provide guidance to site teams, especially regarding the interpretation of architectural plans.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for the procurement and installation of architectural elements like windows, doors, cladding, and finishes
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain thorough documentation of architectural works, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality inspection records.
- Prepare reports for management on the progress, quality, and any issues related to the architectural components of the project.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for architectural-related inquiries, ensuring that the client's design vision is faithfully executed.
- Attend coordination meetings with project stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and any design modifications
Design and Specification Adherence:
- Ensure that all architectural works are executed in accordance with the approved plans, design specifications, and material selections.
- Verify that materials and workmanship are up to standard before installation and approve or reject based on quality.
Safety Oversight:
- Address any safety concerns related to architectural works, especially those that might arise during the installation of large or complex elements.
Job Requirements:
- Recognised Degree in Architecture or equivalent
- More than 10 years of work experience as Senior Architectural Supervisor in construction sites such as hotels, residences, Factories etc. in A1 grading main contractor.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
- Well-versed in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM software in Architectural/Structural/MEP.
- Candidates with experience in BIM projects are at an added advantage
- Knowledge of BIM standards and implementation strategies
- Possesses strong analytical and management skills and can lead the team in the delivery of the projects and resolve issues that arise throughout the projects.
