As a solution architect, you will:
- Exhibit an understanding of existing Airline’s business Processes while identifying improvement areas in support of business & digital transformation programs and alignment to SAP solution’s Industry Best Practise Standards with a prescriptive approach.
- Streamline end-to-end Business Process Workflows in collaboration with business stakeholders throughout project implementation phases.
- Provide thought leadership in designing future, sustainable & holistic solution.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the project to identify problem areas and propose solution.
- Design, Build and Test Scope items integrated with other project scope areas, SAP applications, processes.
- Review & ensure comprehensive documentation as per project standards, guidelines for Solution Design Document (SDD), functional specifications (FSD), configuration, test scenarios, test results.
- Validate configured business processes & compare with designed solution.
- Support SAP’s Passenger Travel industry customers with the conception and implementation of optimized processes.
- Collaborate with Global teams and support projects for new transformational opportunities and projects for the Passenger Travel & cargo industry.
- Provide Pre-Sales Support, creation and execution of presentations and demos to clients and partners.
- Close cooperation with the internal teams regarding knowledge-sharing and business development for specific expert topics.
- Develop Services, Packages and participate in delivering innovative use cases to solve industry challenges using SAP’s latest software and tools.
- Bring in focus on Experience Data and Operational Data and provide solutions for Airlines industry customers.
- Build reusable assets and lead knowledge management process.
Skills:
- Minimum 12 years of functional / hands-on experience of working in the Airline and Aircraft MRO Industry.
- 15+ years of SAP implementation project out of which 8+ years of experience in the capacity of Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect for full life cycle projects.
- Knowledge of various SAP Airline Back Office Solutions. Deep SAP Product Expertise & knowledge in Direct Operating Cost and Airline MRO process, IATA-SIS, Planning & Profitability analysis.
- Should have extensive knowledge on Airline / Passenger Travel industry KPIs, methods of calculation and implementation of SAP Solution
- A broad knowledge of modern IT technologies, Signavio & LeanIX
- Must have hands on experience in SAP logistics modules (P2P, O2C etc.) and integration knowledge with SAP finance and planning modules
- Preferred to have Ariba integration experience or understanding of Ariba Modules.
- Prior experience in leading business transformation projects.
- Ability to organize and prioritize critical tasks particularly in challenging environment while meeting variety of project demands.
- Agile methodologymindset to deliver business outcomes.
- Willingness to work closely with various stakeholders.
- Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
- SAP methodology and Solution Manager experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, result-oriented and effectiveness in problem solving.

- Be fluent in oral and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science. Master’s degree/ MBA is recommended
