Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Construction Teams, QP(D), QPS, LTA, and Sub-Contractors' PE to oversee design tasks.
- Draft and review drawings for both temporary and permanent works, ensuring that sub-contractor drawings meet approval from QP(D) and the LTA in-house design team.
- Offer detailed information on engineering design elements, fostering respectful and productive relationships with site operations teams, while providing assurance for as-built temporary works. Communicate key design expectations for temporary works to the Responsible Site Persons, and stay vigilant to any changes in site conditions, submitting change requests to the Designer when necessary.
- Track the progress of design submission packages assigned by the Design Manager, ensuring thorough review for completeness and efficiency.
- Review and assess design calculations.
- Deliver design calculations for miscellaneous designs upon the construction team’s request, securing PE endorsement as needed.
- Troubleshoot and address design issues, providing insights and escalating significant concerns to the Design Manager.
- Support on-demand design issues as requested by the Design Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structural) or equivalent.
- At least 3-5years of working experience in the construction industry (design) or related field.
