Position Mission
- Support commercial/marketing managers to cover formula price calculation, credit line management, shipping instruction, P&L management, Long/Short control.
- Shipping coordination including looking after bulk/container vessel movement, L/C, documentation as well as ECC.
People Management
Communicating with mangers and shipping coordinators in the team and corporate staff divisions (Finance, Accounting, Risk management, Logistics management div.) Also required to closely communicate with overseas offices such as Tokyo HQ, Bangkok office, Jakarta office. Communicating with suppliers for the arrangement of documents also required.
Geographical scope:-
Sitting in Singapore basically, sometimes lunch or dinner meeting with external people required business engagement on ad-hoc (minimal) basis (eg. client lunch/dinner), and no business trip required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operation team (managers as well as shipping coordinators) for building up efficient team by covering the job such as formula sales price calculation, P&L control, L/C, documentation etc.
- Understand bulk shipping operation in SPACC and communicate with overseas office as well as shipping company for smooth operation.
- Understand Phenol chain business in SPACC and support managers for the existing operation (formula sales price calculation, long/short position control, P&L management etc) especially Phenol/Acetone/BPA business.
