My client is a well established local multidisciplinary consulting firm in Singapore.
Location : Central Area
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of civil and structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, mixed-use developments, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with architects, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure design objectives are met.
- Oversee technical project delivery, including design calculations, specifications, and ensuring compliance with local standards (Eurocodes, Singapore Codes of Practice).
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and drafters, ensuring design integrity and quality control.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analysis for structural components.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of innovative and sustainable engineering practices.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities for necessary approvals, ensuring designs are aligned with statutory requirements.
- Attend meetings with relevant parties to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a PEB recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience in Singapore.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore design codes and local authority submission procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
