Accounting & Administration Senior Executive / Executive

A leading safety and health products distributor is currently seeking candidates for the position of Accounting Executive who is able to perform day-to-day accounting activities and administration duties.

Responsibilities

· Perform the daily operations of the accounting department using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and ensure timely and accurate completion of the following (including but not limited to):

Ø monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process/reporting.

Ø accounts payable/receivable.

Ø participate in financial audit.

Ø capital assets and all other reconciliations including bank and inventory.

· Assist in preparing and providing accounting data and for the financial reports or statements and analytics to support a structured monthly financial review and monthly management/financial reporting (local/HQ).

· Comply with proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

· Assist in preparing the corporate income taxes and indirect tax reporting including the submission of quarterly GST and corporate tax returns.

· Assist in preparing and providing require information for the forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.

· Assist in coordinating with IT service provider or software consultant on any IT related issues including hardware purchases, software projects, setting up new IT equipment and access rights for staff.

· Perform all general administration duties including purchase and maintenance of office and telecommunication equipment, and general issues.

· Other Adhoc duties as assign.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Executive, with minimum 3 years work experience in accounting and tax practices.
  • Minimum a Diploma in Accountancy or Equivalent.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
