Responsibilities
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, or voltmeters.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical equipment or systems and troubleshoot operational problems.
- Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics equipment (e.g., radar, radio, navigation, missile control systems) in aircraft.
- Complete tasks within the allotted time frame, adhering to company, customer, and FAA quality standards.
- Promote workplace safety by following safety guidelines and coordinating repairs with other mechanics and supervisors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and ordered parts.
- Order necessary supplies, equipment, materials, and parts for repairs and general maintenance.
- Perform servicing, scheduled maintenance, and defect rectification on military aircraft and inspect parts from suppliers for compliance with specifications.
Requirements
- NITEC/ Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Aerospace Electronics/ Aerospace Avionics OR relevant experience
- Willing to work rotating shift
