Position: Test Technician (Electrical); 12 months Renewable Contract
Venue: Woodlands
Working Hours: Monday-Friday; 8am-530pm
Summary:
Responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings.
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
- May perform equipment modifications as directed by test engineers.
- Collaborate with company TMs for collection of parts from Fab decon room
- To perform initial assessment upon parts receive by visual
- To perform desoldering and soldering of components found faulty
- Liaise with company TM to search and order components by company system
- Pack all PCB and Assembly units, ready to return to end user
- Generate service report and update work done through share point
- Daily house keep on working areas and dispose of any used components / parts
- Check inventory, update Engineer if need to restock
- Update daily activities in tracking system (share point)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical engineering or equivalent related field or experience is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing field and soldering technology background will be prefer.
- Work accordingly to SOP, training will be given.
