Responsibilities:
- Perform Monthly management accounts closing and prepare appropriate financial statement at quarter and year end
- Prepare monthly Finance Trade book PnL and balance sheet schedules
- Prepare Inventory reconciliation
- Posting internal AR/AP Transactions
- Prepare government surveys and other ad hoc duties.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Prepare and coordinate financial schedules for Quarter and year end Audit
- Documentation of processes and review of existing processes for enhancement.
- Provide support to senior management on cost and revenue analysis, key performing indicators and trend analysis
- Liaise directly with HQ (ATC) on submission of key performance reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ of prior Accounting or Finance experience in a trading environment
- Prior audit experience in Big 4 is preferred
- Some tax knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles GAAP & Mark to Market (MTM)
- Proficient in MS Excel/SAP
- Good team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Meticulous and a strong team player
